We are receiving reports that our telephones are now very busy.
With the change in working due to Covid-19 we are offering a telephone triage system and asking that patients call the Surgery more than usual.
This has resulted in a much higher volume of telphone calls throughout the day.
To help us to help you and respond to your needs can we please ask that you:
◙ If your call is ROUTINE and does not require clinical assistaince on the day, please try to avoid peak times – IE: call after 0830 – 1000 each day.
◙ Remember that we have reduced staffing levels during the lunch period (1200 – 1400).
◙ If you are unable to get through on the first attempt, please try again at a different time rather than physically coming into the Surgery. You should only be attending the Surgery for pre-booked appointments or collection of medication.
Please remember if you have a life threatening condition you should ring 999 immediately. Patients can also make use of Engage Consult (our online consultation system) to send messages to their clinician, request fit notes etc. Messages are accessed throughout the day.
