Temporary Registration

Just visiting the area?

We are happy to see patients in need of medical attention who are visiting the area temporarily.

If routine prescriptions are required during your stay then please contact your usual GP in England, who will be able to send these electronically, using the Electronic Prescription Service, to a local pharmacy. In this situation there is no need to register with our Surgery.

If you feel that you do require medical attention while staying locally then we can register you as a Temporary Resident for up to 3 months and you will be eligible for all the usual NHS services through our team. You will not have to de-register from your home practice. Temporary Registration form

If you are likely to be in the area for more than 3 months then you need to register with us or another local practice as a permanent patient. Our staff can support you in this process.

These conditions also apply to Nursing Home and Care Home residents during periods of respite or convalescence

NHS staff, patients and visitors must continue to wear face coverings in healthcare settings, unless they are exempt.

Please help us reduce the risk of infection for our staff and patients by following this guidance.
